How much does a website cost in South Tyrol?
It’s the question I get asked most. Here’s the honest answer, with real prices and what actually makes up the price.

What determines the price of a website?
The price depends mainly on four things: how many pages the website has, how many languages it appears in, whether texts and photos already exist, and whether special features such as a booking calendar or an online shop are needed. The more of these, the more work and the higher the fixed price.
Number of pages
A tradesperson often needs just one good page. A hotel needs rooms, prices, offers, directions and more. More pages means more work.
Languages
In South Tyrol, several languages are normal. If you want guests from Italy, Germany and the rest of the world, you need German, Italian and English. Every language means translating, checking and building in the texts properly so Google shows each language correctly.
Texts and photos
Good texts and photos make the biggest difference. If you bring your own, it costs less. If you want me to write the texts, that’s charged separately.
Special features
A booking calendar, a gallery you can update yourself or an online shop are extra work. I tell you the fixed price up front.
Is a website builder like Wix or Jimdo worth it?
With builders like Wix or Jimdo you can make a website yourself. That can be enough to start with. In practice I often see three problems: the pages are slow on phones, multiple languages are awkward, and you keep paying every month without the website ever being yours.
With me, the website belongs to you. If you ever want to switch, you get all the files.
How does the process work?
First we have a short phone call and you tell me what your business needs. Then you get a free draft and a fixed price in writing. Only once you hire me do we meet in person to go through texts and photos. After your approval the website goes live, usually within a few weeks.
